Hi, I’m Brenda — travel advisor, destination wedding specialist, Certified Autism Travel Specialist and the founder of Paradise & Palm Travel Co.

Travel has been part of my life and career for over 20 years. I began my journey in the travel industry with American Express Corporate Travel in 1997 before later working with WestJet Vacations and eventually specializing in destination weddings and group travel with TPI (now Trevello). Throughout those years, I developed a deep passion for helping people create meaningful experiences, unforgettable celebrations, and memories that last long after the vacation ends.

In 2014, my career shifted into education, where I have spent the past several years working as an Educational Assistant supporting students with complex and diverse needs. Although I stepped away from travel professionally, my love for travel itself never disappeared.

After returning from a recent trip to Mexico, I found myself reconnecting with the excitement, creativity, and joy that travel has always brought into my life. It reminded me how powerful travel can be — not only as an escape, but as a way to reconnect with ourselves, our families, and the people we love most.

Returning to the travel industry feels like coming home.

Today, through Paradise & Palm Travel Co., I combine my years of travel experience with my background in education and neurodiversity support to create personalized, supportive, and stress-reducing travel experiences for my clients. I am especially passionate about destination weddings, family travel, group travel, and supporting neurodivergent and autism-friendly travel experiences that help all travelers feel confident, understood, and excited about exploring the world.
