Terms and Conditions — Paradise & Palm Travel Co.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Paradise & Palm Travel Co. website [insert website URL] and any travel planning, advisory, or booking services provided by Paradise & Palm Travel Co. ("Paradise & Palm," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, submitting an inquiry, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

These Terms should be read alongside our [Privacy Policy], which explains how we collect and use your personal information.

2. Who We Are

Paradise & Palm Travel Co. is an independent travel advisory business based in Ontario, Canada, providing personalized travel planning, consultation, and booking coordination services. We act as an intermediary between you and third-party travel suppliers — including airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, and other vendors — who are ultimately responsible for delivering the travel services you purchase.

We do not own, operate, or control any airline, hotel, resort, cruise line, or other travel supplier.

3. Eligibility

Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. By engaging our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Our Services

Paradise & Palm provides travel planning and advisory services, which may include:

  • Destination and accommodation research and recommendations

  • Coordination of bookings with third-party travel suppliers

  • Itinerary planning

  • Communication with airlines, resorts, and other suppliers on your behalf

  • Ongoing support before, during, and after your trip

We do our best to provide accurate, up-to-date information and recommendations based on your stated needs and preferences. However, all travel arrangements are ultimately subject to the availability, pricing, and terms of the third-party suppliers involved.

5. Quotes, Pricing & Availability

Prices, availability, and travel supplier offerings can change without notice and are not guaranteed until a booking is confirmed and paid for. Any quote provided by Paradise & Palm is an estimate based on information available at the time and is subject to change until confirmed.

We are not responsible for price increases, currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes, or fees imposed by third-party suppliers after a quote is provided but before a booking is confirmed.

6. Payment, Deposits & Cancellations

Payment terms: Deposit amounts, payment schedules, and final payment due dates will be communicated to you at the time of booking and are governed by the individual policies of the travel supplier(s) involved.

Cancellations and refunds: Cancellation policies, change fees, and refund eligibility are set by the individual travel suppliers (airlines, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, etc.), not by Paradise & Palm. We will communicate these policies to you before you confirm a booking, but we do not guarantee refunds and are not responsible for a supplier's refusal to provide one.

Any service or planning fees charged directly by Paradise & Palm (separate from supplier costs) are non-refundable once planning work has begun, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Travel insurance: We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and lost or delayed baggage. Paradise & Palm is not responsible for losses that adequate travel insurance would have covered.

7. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information when booking (names must match government-issued ID/passport exactly)

  • Ensuring you and any travelers in your party have valid passports, visas, and any required travel documentation

  • Reviewing and understanding the specific terms, conditions, and policies of the airlines, resorts, and other suppliers involved in your trip

  • Arranging appropriate travel insurance

  • Complying with any health, vaccination, or entry requirements of your destination

  • Any costs, delays, or denied travel resulting from incomplete or inaccurate documentation

Paradise & Palm is not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, or other consequences resulting from a client's failure to meet documentation or entry requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

Paradise & Palm acts as an intermediary and advisor. We are not liable for:

  • The acts, omissions, errors, delays, cancellations, or negligence of any third-party travel supplier (airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, ground transportation providers, etc.)

  • Injury, illness, death, loss, damage, or delay arising from the services or products provided by third-party suppliers

  • Events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, government actions, strikes, civil unrest, pandemic-related restrictions, or other force majeure events

  • Losses that would have been covered by adequate travel insurance

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paradise & Palm's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount of planning or service fees paid directly to Paradise & Palm (excluding amounts paid to third-party suppliers).

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Ontario or Canadian law.

9. Force Majeure

Paradise & Palm is not responsible for any failure to perform our obligations where that failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics or public health emergencies, government travel restrictions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, or supplier insolvency.
