One of the things I love most about travel is experiencing destinations firsthand so I can genuinely help clients choose what fits them best.

Recently I stayed at Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico — a smaller, family-friendly resort with a relaxed atmosphere that feels very different from the large mega-resorts many people picture in Mexico.

What stood out to me:

Walkable marina location

Calm beach area

Friendly and welcoming staff

Great option for families

Easy access to excursions and catamaran tours

A more intimate and laid-back feel

I especially loved being able to walk through Puerto Aventuras in the evenings and experience a quieter, more relaxed side of the Riviera Maya.
