One of the things I love most about specializing in autism-inclusive family travel is seeing more resorts recognize that every family deserves the opportunity to enjoy a vacation that works for them. 💕
From October 19–23, 2026, Beaches Turks & Caicos is scheduled to host its Autism Inclusion Week, celebrating inclusion, understanding, and creating meaningful vacation experiences for families with autistic loved ones. 🧩🌊
The week is expected to feature a variety of activities, including:
🌴 Family-friendly activities and gatherings
🎨 Arts and crafts
🌊 Water-based activities
💙 Educational opportunities focused on autism awareness and inclusion
What makes this particularly special is that Beaches Resorts has already made significant strides in autism-inclusive travel, including staff training, sensory-friendly resources, and additional support options for families who may need them.
As someone who works with autistic individuals and specializes in helping neurodivergent families navigate travel, I know how important it is for families to feel understood, supported, and welcomed.
Because an inclusive vacation isn’t just about where you go. It’s about feeling comfortable, respected, and able to enjoy the experience as a family. 💙
I’m excited to see resorts continuing to move in this direction, and I hope we see even more of these initiatives throughout Mexico and the Caribbean!
